10ka human, invents "Cuttleskin" that changes texture and shape on command. This is used mostly to sport corporate brands on skin. Less clothing becomes the cultural norm (the more time passes, usually the less conservative people become. This also serves a function in showing off the Cuttleskin.) People download skin packs, and richer people can afford more geometric skin packs & larger prosthesis. (relative comparison is Neanderthal to Homo Sapiens Sapiens. Not a huge visual jump.)
1m year human. The Cuttleskin nano-tech has started mutating on its own, and post the destruction of human civilization, the nano-tech causes incredible mutations.
1b year human. We have morphed into energetic "gods." at this point. Timeless, multidimensional beings.
Cuttleskin applied to dogs. (ie: chanel bag dog, etc.)
